This vintage has a beautiful oxidized red tint, a typical characteristic of the main grape variety used, Nebbiolo.

On opening the bottle, the wine is rather closed with light tertiary scents, but when given some time to breathe, you’ll find a complex wine with aromas of vanilla, chocolate, tobacco, leather, nuts and red fruit.

On the palate, the wine is graceful and well-balanced accompanied by a round and delicate flavor, supported by acidity and fine tannins.

La Valigia 2013 pairs perfectly with meat dishes (red meat or game) and ripe cheeses.
